フェスティバル3日目の「A/Visions 3」では、音楽・ダンス・テクノロジーが織りなす舞台芸術と、シネマティックな音世界が交差する、既存の枠組みを越えたイマーシブ・パフォーマンスをお届けする。

メディアアーティストの真鍋大度と、MIKIKO率いるダンスカンパニーELEVENPLAYによるダンスインスタレーション『＋1＋1＋1＋』を上演。時間と構造をテーマに、ダンサーの身体、映像、光の同期とずれを繰り返しながら、身体とテクノロジー、音楽とダンスの境界を再構成していく。

本プログラムを締めくくるのは、カナダを代表するシンガーソングライター／コンポーザーPatrick Watsonによる最新プロジェクト、Film Scores for No Oneの日本初演。モジュラーシンセサイザーによる即興的な電子音響とネオクラシカルな響きが交差し、映画音楽を思わせる没入感あふれるサウンドスケープを描き出す、ライブならではのパフォーマンスを披露する。

「Play 3」では、音、映像、デジタル技術を駆使し、現代における新たな表現の可能性を探るアーティストが出演する。

国内からは、ポップかつエクスペリメンタルな電子音楽と幻想的なヴィジュアル表現で注目を集めるtamanaramenが登場。踊りと呼吸、そして絶えず変化する身体をテーマとしたオーディオビジュアル・パフォーマンス『DANCE IS BREATHING』を披露する。

そして台湾発の**『MOVING PLUS: The World as Prompt』が日本初登場。ニューメディアアート・コレクティブDimension Plusを中心に、小説家Yi-Chin LO**、コラージュアーティストRaintree 1969が参加し、言語、音、イメージ、AIなど多様なメディアを通して「プロンプト」という概念を多次元的に展開する。アジアから生まれる新たなオーディオビジュアル表現の可能性を提示する。

On the third day of the festival, “A/Visions 3” presents immersive performances that move beyond conventional boundaries, bringing together performing arts shaped by music, dance, and technology with cinematic worlds of sound.

Media artist Daito Manabe and ELEVENPLAY, the dance company led by MIKIKO, present the dance installation ＋1＋1＋1＋. Exploring time and structure, the work repeatedly shifts between synchronization and misalignment across dancers’ bodies, visuals, and light, reconfiguring the boundaries between body and technology, music and dance.

Closing the program is the Japan premiere of Film Scores for No One, the latest project by acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter and composer Patrick Watson. Improvised electronic sounds created with modular synthesizers intersect with neoclassical textures, unfolding into an immersive, cinematic soundscape in a performance designed to fully come alive in a live setting.

“Play 3” features artists exploring new possibilities for contemporary expression through sound, image, and digital technology.

From Japan, tamanaramen, known for their pop-infused experimental electronic music and dreamlike visual language, presents DANCE IS BREATHING, an audiovisual performance centered on dance, breath, and the constantly transforming body.

Also making its Japan premiere is Taiwan’s MOVING PLUS: The World as Prompt. Led by new media art collective Dimension Plus, together with novelist Yi-Chin LO and collage artist Raintree 1969, the work expands the concept of the “prompt” across multiple dimensions through language, sound, image, AI, and other forms of media, presenting new possibilities for audiovisual expression emerging from Asia.
